Sorry if this has been asked already!

I applied for a spousal sponsorship back in December and at the time I was unemployed so that's what I stated in the forms. A few months later I applied for a TOWP which was granted to me and now I might have found a job. My question is: if I get hired, do I need to contact IRCC with a webform to let them know that I am working or is there no need?

Thanks as usual!

What is actually important is the employment status and finances or the Canadian citizen or PR sponsoring you. No need to update your employment on your SOWP. The one caveat would be if your spouse is unemployed.

My spouse is unemployed. She has her eligibility completed but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with her finances and employments or if it's just a check that she really is a citizen. We are not sponsoring any dependent children but I was wondering if I should still let them know about my job because of her current unemployment.

Edit: added info

In this case, yes, notify them (and if any update with respect to her finances/employment).

The initial eligibility completed is really limited and doesn't mean much.
