Do I need to show evidence when I re-enter ?

Hi,forum members
I just have one quick question.
I've landed on Sep3,2008 and stayed in Canada till Jan,2010...Now living in my home country, plan to go back to Canada at the end of 2011
Is there any possible that the IO won't let me in due to 2 years' absence? and what kind of documents they might check besides valid PR card?
According to my calculation,i still need to stay in Canada for 8 months before my PR card get expired which is Oct. 2013
Maybe it's too early to ask,but I just want to double check and avoid problems.Thank you!

your PR status in intact. As far as my understanding they calculate the stay in Canada through passport's entry and exit stamps. There is no problem of your return at end of 2011.
