Hi everyone,

I read through some of the conversation threads here and am really glad to see a thriving community here. Hope to give it back when time comes.

I'm in process of filing my Express Entry application under NOC code 1122 (Management Consulting).

I recently shifted job and am three months old in current organization. So my question is that do I need to show this 3 months work experience in my application? I do not wish to tell my current employer that I'm applying for EE visa which I will have to in case I mention it and ask for work experience letter.

I scanned through CIC website and couldn't find any definitive answer.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards,
Vijay

You can leave it out of your work history and list it in your "personal history" when you submit your eAPR, assuming you have ample previous work experience counting towards your points. You won't get any points for it, but you also don't need to get a letter for it.

Thanks Northern Sunshine. I'm also thinking to do the same but then it goes against their policy of keeping information up to date. Do you think it's safe to do that?

As long as you list it in your personal history in your eAPR, you're still keeping your information up to date. The work history section is only for work experience that you are claiming points for.

Plaese guide that .....is it ok to keep primary NOC different and claim points for work experience on a different NOC?
