Do I need to notarize 'proof of relationship' letters?

Hello,

Sorry if this has already been asked but I can't find anything!
My common-law partner is sponsoring me and we are just gathering all of our documents. I am from the UK and we have got a bunch of people writing letters to help confirm that our relationship is genuine (parents, siblings, family members, landlords and employers). Do I need to get any of these notarized? Or is a letter signed by them enough? It doesn't specify anywhere on our checklist or the cic website. I don't know where to start to get them notarized if we do have to!

If they needed to be notarized, that would be stated.

You don't need that many letters from all of those people. Overkill.
