Do I need to have an Express Profile for applying to extend my work permit?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to apply online to extent my work permit which expires in about 2 months.

The CIC website is leading me to complete all my Express Entry profile even though I've already applied for PR using paper forms. It's asking education background, work history and everything else.

My question is: as I need only applying to extend my work permit, would it be easier if I did using paper form and the I might not have to answer all those questions again?

Try playing around with the questionnaire to avoid the Express Entry result and lead to the work permit extension. You might have to choose you wish to stay/work temporarily for more than 6 months, rather than immigrate/permanently.
