Do I need to contact CIC now I'm engaged?

Hi guys,

Possibly a stupid question here - just wondering - we sent our inland application back in May of this year for spousal sponsorship, but since then have become engaged.

As this isn't a "legally recognised" marital status as such, should we tell CIC about it, or do we just leave everything as common-law?
