Can someone please help me answer this question. Do I need to bring my 11 year old dependant to the citizenship test/interview.

To the interview - you can but not needed.
To the test - no.

Does the interview take place right after the test?

Yes. The interview takes place after the test. The agent will inform you of your test result at the interview. I don't know for sure if they even allow children in the interview since it is usually takes place near the test area. They don't want children (some children can be loud) to interrupt those attending their tests even though they are in a separate room from the interview session.
