Do I need to apply for new TRV?

Hi guys,

I have received my post-graduation work permit but now I'm in a dilemma whether I have to apply for a new TRV or not. I currently have a TRV that was issued when I got my study permit and this TRV (S-1 Student) is valid until next year (August 2021). Now I have to travel in July for a very important work so my question is whether I can re-enter Canada on my current TRV or I have to apply for a new one?

is is still valid, but the border agent can ask you for the permit. some times they don't care.
