Do i need to apply for a visitor visa if this situation?

I held a work permit then I applied for a visitor record for my child. We want to go and return between the USA and Canada for the summer holiday, do I need to apply for a visitor visa for her?

I check her visitor record that remarks: temporary residence status maintained as per R183(6). I am confused about it whether i need to apply for a visitor visa for her

Visitor records allows your child to stay in Canada as a visitor . She needs a TRV to travel and return.

Thanks for your reply, but i check government website that remarks if you are directly to go and return between The USA and Canada, you don't apply TRV.

correct but it states that entry is not guaranteed. Your child needs to meet entry requirements.
