it is lesser than 6 months so you dont need it. the country you stayed more than 6 months only need a PCC

Thanks for your quick answer, i did get confused by this exemple for CIC :

(For example, if you lived in a country for eight months but left on a two-week vacation, that counts as living there for eight months.)

Can they consider it like from 26/09/2011 To 18/06/2012 ?

you should break you stay in two different rows in the application of travel history
like YYYY-MM-01 to YYYY-MM-04 ---> France
then your country
then again France.

I agree, ideally as per CIC rules on their website you don't need a PCC from France. But CIC has been known to react differently is such scenario from applicant to applicant. Don't understand the reason why?

If its not too big a challenge, it won't harm to be ready with one in case CIC eventually asks during the processing of your application to avoid any probability of rejection.

All the very Best!

I agree that you do not need French PPC. However, If you are worry, you can ask PCC from France, it is fee of charge, and will be issued quickly.

I confirm what Elise said.

French PCC is probably the easiest to get and it's free. You can do it online from your home country and it arrives via regular post to the address you indicated. I did it in 2014 and if I remember well it too 10 days to arrive.
