I was born in Canada but live in the UK. I came back to Canada in 2000 for 5 months and opened a bank account and an investment account in which i bought some mutual funds. I left and went back to the UK and not been back since. My mutual funds are now worth quite a bit of money and i was wondering if i needed to file a canada tax return if i sold them etc.
