Do I need a Work Visa?

Hi all,

I'm in Canada on a Study Visa and changed my status to Open Work Permit. Now my question is, do I need to get a work visa? or my current study visa is still valid even though I'm not a student anymore and I changed my status?

My question is very generic. When we find a job while inside canada on a different visa, and get a work permit (open or close), do we need a work visa too?
My study visa is still valid. Do I need a work visa?
