Hi Guys,

Before booking a flight to India, just wanted to make sure if i need a transit visa for above countries?

I'm an Indian citizen yet to receive my PR card. I'm planning to leave for India right after landing before receiving PR card. Please advise.

Um...I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly...
Your need for visas won't change because of your Canadian PR Status. For travel purposes, you'll still be treated as an Indian citizen. So if Indian Citizens need transit visas to travel through London and Amsterdam then, yes, you will need a transit visa to get back to India if you plan to pass through these countries (unless you're staying on the same plane the whole time, I think).

Hi there,

Sorry for not explaining my question properly. I know that the visa requirements go with the citizenship status and I'm an Indian.
I just checked on the UK website and they say if I have a US visa, I don't need a visa.

Though not sure about Amsterdam Could you please confirm?

No visas are needed if you are transiting airside(you won't be leaving the airport) as long as you have the required travel document or visa(if any needed) for the final destination.

If you are transiting through only one member of the Schengen zone, then you will not need a transit visa. However, if you have 2 or more stops in the Schengen Zone, then you'll need a transit visa.
