Just need some clarification.... im sponsoring my husband and he did studies abroad from 2007 to 2009 and we are wondering if we would require a police clearance from over 5 years ago? We already have the FBI american one sent but now we are wondering if he needs one for his studies done abroad.

Since he was there for more than 6 months, he will need a PCC.

If he was more than 18 years of age when he was studying abroad, then yes he will need PCC. Anyone who has lived for more than 6 months in any country after the age of 18 will need PCC.

Yes he needs one. My lawyer said she had a client who lived in the states 20 yrs ago and they still requested one.
