Hello Friends
I am waiting for PPR and my PCC expires on March 21. Do you think I will be asked by CIC to submit a new one? If yes then I want to apply now to avoid any delay

No you don't need it. If they require then they will ask for it.

Hi all, I work in other country (Dunai) before coming in Canada. I Already have the PCC from this country. (New)

I have old (2012) PCC from homecountry, this is also part of visa requirement before coming here. My point is, I never got home after that date. Can I send that

old PCC to CIC? or need to get a new one? Is anybody did send the old PCC? Just put in the letter that I didnt travel home?

you'd think logic would allow that - but I dont think thats the case. From what I recall, dont PCC need to be less than 3 months old?

from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.

And, you think CIC should just believe you? :) Wouldn't be much of a safeguard, would it?

You need a new PCC, unless it is literally impossible to get a new one.

Dear jes_ON, :)

I've been following most of the topic that relate to my case and it's show that you are experience and able to provide the answer to our friends precisely regarding to their concerns or questions. Can you please advise or help me please because I applied for my PR under the CEC program under NOC 7231 (CNC Machinist) last years in February 2014 and received my AOR on March 7th 2014 until this date I haven't hear anything from the CPP-O yet , I'm quite frustrating about my application being rejected based on PASS/FAIL. I have ordered my GCMS note and my application showing that : review required. If you are able to explain to me about my note situation that would be great, and I really appreciated that.
