I will be submitting my outland application tomorrow. Very excited that it is finally ready to send in. I do have one last question however.. In my country specific checklist it asks for identity docs etc for ALL family members. Do i need to supply my common-law partners documents if he is Canadian and will be my Sponsor? I originally though no but i am now second guessing myself. We are supplying his identity docs with his sponsor application but unsure if we need to submit again as per the request in country specific checklist.

Any help is really appreciated! Thanks

Hi,
One copy should do it.

for application purposes, your spouse is not your "spouse" or "family member". they are the "sponsor". when applicant forms refer to "family members" they are referring to everyone listed in the application seeking PR status (ie: children, parents, when a couple is applying together, etc.). So, the sponsor's identity documents only need to be in the sponsor pile. you do not need to submit them more than one copy.
