Do I have to wait for marriage certificate to submit inland SpouseSponsorship ?

Hi Guys
we are getting marry this week in Toronto. My fiancee will sponsor me (She is Citizen)
My question is can I submit right away after registration or do I have to wait 10 weeks for the marriage certificate to do that?
I read some thread that one can submit without the certificate and mail it afterwards.
If I have to wait for marriage certificate is there any way that I can speed it up ?
The reason I am asking is that my work permit is expiring Nov 30 and I would like to get the spouse work permit as soon as possible.

Hi. We got married here in Ontario on May 31 and I sent the on-line request 1 week after. We got the marriage certificate in 5 weeks after we got married.

As for including it in the spousal sponsorship package, I am not sure if you can send it later on. But we waited for it since it is one of the documents in the checklist and we did not want to risk of getting a rejection with the application to avoid prolonging the process.

Hi andrewl - yes, oridinary on-line request as you cannot put a rush request on-line the marriage happened within 10 weeks. But indicate in the note that it is for immigration. I think that is a flag for them to rush it so we got the certificate 5 weeks after we got married.

Hi.

You can send the request for the certificate right away after your marriage. It should take a few weeks only.

If you're in a real rush to submit, send the application with the record of solemnization and an explanation letter that you're waiting for the certificate and will send it once you get it.
