I have been living in a woman's shelter because I am not allowed to live here, due to my father in law kicking me out since he is on the lease. I am hoping my husband finds his own place soon and we can possibly live together. Since living in the woman's shelter, a drug addict went through everything I Had and stole all of it, including my passport, birth certificate and ss card. I need to cancel my passport and send off for a new one.

When immigration finds out that I have been living in a shelter for the past two months, will they deport me for not living with my husband? I am only a visitor right now.

No - they won't deport you for not living with your husband. As long as your visit in Canada is legal, I don't see why you should have any issues.
