Hello,

If I leave my current job after form where the nomination is approved and I apply for PR and do not update IRCC then is there any problem with that?
How they are going to know if I have left the job and my employer has not reported to them.

Need answer.

Thanks.

Yes, there can be a problem if your nomination was received based on employment with that specific employer.

This can be easily discovered during the federal processing phase when they complete a full review of your application and eligibility, including employment.

So the IRCC contact my employers for that if I am still working for them or not?

They could check with your employer, or ask you for updated evidence, or look at employment records. Keep in mind that your employment records are linked to your SIN so pretty easy to find out if you have moved to a new employer.

Yes, don't fuck around with IRCC. For one second, do not even try and think you can outsmart them. Syclla is right - if your nomination was linked to your employer, and you don't tell IRCC/the province you left that job, they WILL find out about it. They have many detection mechanisms in place to catch people out so if you're thinking of evading it by leaving your job and not telling anyone (unless your certificate has no restriction) you'll eventually get caught red handed.
