Do i have to cover gap?

Hello forum members,

I want to apply for a course that starts in September 2015. I have completed my graduation in 2014, and got my marksheet in July.

I got my IELTS score in first week of august, 2014.

Do I have to cover the gap till next September, and if yes can you please tell me how i can cover it?
