i havent been able to complete 2nd medical exams cuz im on antiobiotics and my body needs to be clean off any kind of medications for the urine test, so i'll be completing my meds first week of july, ( i know its not possible to know the exact time) but i'd like to have an idea of a roughly time for my local canadian embassy to get medical results, cuz in the letter i got the day of my interview it says i have 60 days to submit remaining documents, meaning payment of RPRF and the 2nd medicals, failure to do so may result in a refusal?? im very concerned, after all this time i dont want to be rejected just cuz of this. btw i got my interview june 14th.

You can do the medical even though you are on antibiotics. Just advise the DMP what they are and what they are for. Unless you have a highly contagious, DEADLY disease, it's not going to make a difference on your results. Where did you get the idea you couldn't do the medical if you were on antibiotics?

when i went there they told me to wait 1 week after i get off antiobiotics, they said urine needs to be clean, she even got mad at me for asking for advice, she just ended up telling me to come back in 2 weeks. I did all of the other tests even xrays. This coming monday im going to my doctor and have a test done and see if it comes out clean so i can return to the DMP and finish with this. Do you think i have enough time? my main concern is the 60 days they gave me to submit the medicals, and i dont know how long it takes for the doctor to send the results to the embassy.

Well she was WRONG. Sometimes I wish some of these DMPs would read their own manual! Anyway, the 60 day deadline is for you to get the medicals COMPLETED. As long as you complete the medical within that time frame, you are fine.

Ok, so how would embassy know i've completed them even if they dont get results right away?

The medical examiner datestamps your medical forms before sending them to CIC. So the date you complete the medicals become the official date the CIC uses to determine if they were done within the required timeframe.

thank you sooo much for your responses, i feel much better knowing this. :)

Also the medical examiner will give you a copy of the Medical Report Section A stamped with the date the medicals were performed. You could use your copy as proof that the examinations were completed within the timeframe CIC requires.

I got the copy the first time i did the medicals back in 2010, but this is the 2nd time as they expired, this time i didnt get anything BUT the receipt of payment, that was it, next day she called me to let me know i needed to redo the urine test.

I emailed embassy to let them know about this, and to know if this would affect the 60 days time frame they gave me but they havent replied yet :S

The don't give you a copy for 2nd medicals. And no, it won't affect the 60 days as long as you complete the tests within that timeframe.
