Hi all
I'm going to sponsor my mother. My gross income is 29,500 an net income is 23,400.
Is it enough to sponsor my mother?

You make enough money to sponsor. You make more than me and I was told I made the minimum requirement just over 21,000. Don't worry, just send proof of that.

Mrs. Turan Thanks for your quick reply

I'm reading guide for sponsorship for parents and there is
Total Number of Family Members
1 Person (Income Required $20,584)
2 Person (Income Required $27,787)
Should I calculate me and my mother as 2 person?
Or just my mother as 1 person?

Are you single? Do you have children? The number you use is the TOTAL for your family PLUS the person you are sponsoring. If it's just you and your mom, the income is for 2 people. And you use the gross income, not net.

Notice of assessment does not show my gross income.
I earned 29,500, when I did taxes, received Notice Of Assessment and it shows: Total income.......23,400
Now I,m confused is this enough or not to sponsor my mother.
