Hello,

I want to know if anyone haws ever convinced their employers to sponsor visas of their spouse. My husband is a PR holder of Canada and will be moving to Canada soon. MY TRV was refused in September and I will be reapplying again now. However, I need to know if big MNC's can sponsor me?

If there are any such companies, please let me know.

Thanks,

No - it doesn't work that way.

If you wish to come to Canada on a work permit or if you wish to apply to immigrate through an economic stream and get extra points through a job offer - the first step is to secure a full time job offer in Canada. The next step is for the company to obtain an approved LMIA. The LMIA process is long and expensive for the employer with no guarantee of approval and requires them to advertise the job to prove no Canadian could be found for the role. Generally speaking, it's extremely difficult to find employers willing to go through the process.

Best option is for your spouse to sponsor you for PR through the family class stream. Note that your spouse cannot submit the application until he has returned to Canada. Additionally, he must meet the PR residency obligation in order to sponsor you.
