Do barcodes need to be reprinted if error noticed on application?

I accidentally made a mistake on the generic application for outland, and have reprinted this. But I read somewhere about the barcodes after validating an application have to be redone? Is this correct?

Yes, as the existing barcodes will encode the wrong information.
