Hi there I recently come through the border as I have done many times and said the same thing: that I’m on a working holiday visa and I work with children as a nanny. Previous times I’ve moved through the gate with ease I have done two medical exams that have both been passed, this is the first time that I’ve come to any complication to do with my work permit and my current work status.
I was told that there is a condition on my work permit that states I am not authorised to work in childcare primary/secondary school teaching or health service Field operations. I have filled out a form and started an application to lift this condition from my work permit but it’s also come to my attention that I might not even need to take this precaution.
I’m not working with children while figuring out this problem but just reaching out to other people to see if anyone has had a similar experience or know anything more about if I even need to have this lifted from my work permit as I already do have two medical is to prove I am able to work alongside children. Thank you so much appreciate anybody’s help.
