Do 2 study terms & 1 internship term qualify for 16 month PGWP?

Hello,
I am looking at pursuing a full-time Master's program, which has 2 on-campus study terms (September to April), and 1 off-campus internship term (May-August). What length of PGWP can I apply for? Will I get 16 months for the PGWP?
From what I have understood from all the reading thus far, 2 terms (8 months) qualify as 1 academic year.
So I'm assuming that the 8 months of on-campus terms and the 4 months of off-campus internship will get me 16 months in the PGWP.
Or will I get just 12 months worth of PGWP?

Any responses will be much appreciated.

Is is public or private college? What is the name of it and where is it based? The college should say on their website how long the course is.

hello, thank you for your reply. I'm looking at Western University (University of Western Ontario). It's a Public University in London, Ontario, and is a 'Designated Institution'. On their website, they say, it's a 1 year program..
Like I said earlier, since 2 terms/8 months qualify as 1 academic year, I'm assuming the internship term would help me get an additional 4 months, for a total of 16 months of PGWP.

If they say it's a one year program, unfortunately you will only qualify for a one year Pgwp

No, I believe its based on length of program so you will get 1 year PGWP.
