Tanks every1,fingers crossed I see good news coming(passport request)
Do you mean that your passport has been requested or do you mean that you hope it will be?

Some people, mostly children, also use the gesture to excuse their telling of a white lie. This may have its roots in the belief that the power of the Christian cross might save one from being sent to hell for telling a lie. By extension, a similar belief is that crossing one's fingers invalidates a promise being made.

I hope it will be

Don't waste your time anymore zardoz. There is no reasoning with some people.

There is nothing wrong to build castles in the air; you only have to build walls below it...................if you can.

They asked for the DNA because they suspected at least one of the children was not yours/your husband's. Some people grow up with cousins, etc in the same house and refer to each other as siblings. But for immigration purposes, only biological or formally adopted children can be listed as dependents. If the other two children are not yours/your husband's, then you are better off discussing with your lawyer and informing CIC.

The fact that you did not do the test for the other 2 children is enough for an officer to draw a negative inference. Your application will likely be refused on two grounds:
- misrepresentation (lying) - carries 5 year ban from Canada
- not providing DNA tests for all dependents

If I were you I would discuss with the lawyer and come clean. It's only a matter of time before CIC presents you with evidence from their investigations.
