Hello,
I am a permanent resident of Canada currently residing in India. I got married in May 2014 but unfortunately, the marriage did not last and I am getting divorced in the month of November 2019 here in India by mutual consent.
Both my ex-wife and I became Permanent Residents in December 2017. We are living separately since April 2018 in India.
I am planning to then move to Canada on Feb 2020, and stay there permanently. My question is if I get remarried in India again would that marriage be recognized in Canada? If I plan to bring my new wife to Canada would the CIC have any problems associated it with? Would there be any problem to renew my PR status or Citizenship if I marry outside of Canada post my divorce?
Thanks and appreciate your help with the same.
