Im a PR living in Toronto since 2011. I have been outside Canada since october 2016. Now after 1 year and 4 months plan to go back and file for divorce.
Can I file it in Toronto? My husband is no longer PR, after he didnt have the minimum days in Canada, he applied for Voluntarily Renounce his Permanent Resident Status.
Also can I file for divorce by myself without his approval / signature? My status in Canada is 'separated'.
Our marriage was done outside Canada, in Europe.
