Divorce in progress

Hi, everyone -

My divorce is in progress but won't be complete by the time my 120 days runs out. I'm planning to submit my application as a "separated" person and then send in the divorce papers when it's finalized.

Does anybody see any problem with that?

Don' forget to provide the letter of explanation that why you are unable to submit the required certificate/doc at this time.
Give proper/valid reason and tell them the time range when you should be able to submit.

I believe there should not be any issue.

Yes a letter with a detailed explanation will help alot.
