I am wondering if anyone can share similar experience and insight? I have searched the forum but did not find definite answer.
If a couple seeks divorce after Copr but prior to landing, Would IRCC require document to be submitted? If so what document and in what time frame. My concern is divorce in the US could really drag 1 year or 2 and we will not be able to provide anything soon. In this case what will happen to the application if we cannot provide required document before deadline?
Another scenario is the main applicant travel and settle in Canada but her partner and child will travel in 6 months. In this case if her partner later change his mind and do not go and activate his PR and the child's PR and let them expire and a divorce is commenced a year later. What would happen to the main applicant's PR?Is there anyway to get the infant child PR?
I am in a stressful situation and any insight and similar experience shared is highly appreciated.
