I worked as an Instructor at a University (NOC: 41200 – University professors and lecturers) for almost 9-10 years in my hometown (outside of Canada)
Now I got an offer from a BC employer as a COOP coordinator (NOC: 41320 – Educational counsellors), accepted the offer. I am working there for 1-2 months.
I have decided to apply BC PNP EEBC Skilled Worker Stream and I need to show some proof of directly related work experience.
I know my previous job experience is related but;
Is it possible to relate them?
If so, How can I prove that?
What document should I prepare?
My previous experience and my current job have different NOC codes but Broad occupational category (4) and Major group (41) are the same. Does it have any effect?
1- Broad occupational category 4 – Occupations in education, law and social, community and government services
2- Major group 41 – Professional occupations in law, education, social, community and government services
