Hi,
If I get a provincial nomination from one of the provinces, when I get my PR I must live and work in that province. But what if my scores are high and I get a nomination directly from CIC and not provincial nomination? Does it mean I can live and work any where that I want in Canada once my PR is approved or CIC decides which province I should live? Thanks.

Yes, strictly speaking, anywhere except Quebec, which performs its own immigration selection process.

Realistically speaking, once you become a PR of Canada (either through PNP or EE) you can live anywhere you want including Quebec, because your Charter Rights guarantee freedom of mobility in Canada.
