Hello All,

I understand this may have been discussed in depth in the past but would appreciate your advice.

So my current situation is that I applied directly for EE and my score is 464 will go down after my birthday in July to 459. As things stand, doesn't seem FSW draw will happen soon. I have also submitted a PNP for Saskatchewan (65 score) and Quebec. My NOC code is 1223.

As I am getting worried, a spoke to a consultant who said they can help with PNP for Ontario, Alberta etc. He explained that they are experts etc. and can help with PNPs there, will review my EE profile plus other services. Ofcourse there are no guarantees.

Now I have done most of the work, I am not sure if I should pay a handsome amount to a consultant and is it even worth it? Is he trying to mint money or he can actually be helpful with PNP.

Appreciate your advice and comments.

I'm doubtful he can do anything you couldn't just do yourself, that's what i think about agents in general when it comes to immigration to Canada. In the end, IRCC have done a great job of just making it simple and straightforward, that you can just do it yourself.

The only thing that would make his services worthwhile is if he can get you a qualifying job offer, maybe that's something you could ask him about.

But i would just say, read up on PNPs and just apply yourself.

chances of rejection are high if you use a consultant. they will most likely forget to upload a document and blame you for it.
