Hello, I am very confused by the CIC photo requirement for Express entry.
The photo is required to be at lease 35mm X 45mm. But how do you measurement the digital photo size. I had a photo taken, and where can I double check the size (in "property" there is dimension in "pixels", not in "mm")?

Go to any photo studio and tell him you need a photo for Canada VISA - you are set.

The quickest way to check the basics for the photo:
1) open mspaint
2) The dimensions of the photo should be at least 420 x 540 (in pixels). If you want to change to pixels go to properties in mspaint.
3) Check if the file size is no less than 65kb.

To check the size of the head, from chin to crown:
1) must be between 31mm(or 117 pixels) and 36mm (or 136pixels)
2) Resize the photo to (132 x 170 pixels) keeping the aspect ratio
3) the measure from chin to crown, must be somewhere between 117 and 136 pixels, which is equivalent to 31mm and 36mm.

If you think this is too complicated go and take a professional photo instead. They know how to do it, respecting all the mentioned above.
