Different Signatures

Hi. I would just like to ask your inputs.. i sent an application for QSW last month, and yesterday I noticed that my wife's signature in the forms and declarations is a little different from the one in her passport. Her passport was issued in 2011 and she has changed her signature since. The change though is subtle and are almost identical. Also note that her signature in our marriage contract is also different, which is understandable since we were not married yet and did not carry my family name.

I was also in the same situation. U can update ur wife passport wid new signature as same done in application coz it will take no much time. U can change as emergency situation and submit fees in passport office .so, it will take less time. As changing of signature or anything else take much time for application as well. This is not a worry situation before cic ask u to submit ur and wife's passport, just update information as done in application. and as u said in marriage certificate that is not a issue thing. Hope this info. will help u.

^ thank you for the reply guramar.. it's reassuring to know that it will not be a cause for any problem. i will remind her to make her signature like the one in our application forms/declarations when she renews her passport. for now, we will wait for aor first.. hope we will get one soon
