Different number of years offered for PGWP for the same program and work in same Health Care.

Hello Everyone,
My sister applied for Health Aide program on 3rd September 2024 and graduated on June 30th, 2025. She applied for a PGWP in July alongside her classmates. Yesterday she was approved for a 1-year PGWP and her classmates who did the same program with her got 3 years, and another got 2 years.

My question is why they are given different years. They all work in the same health Care.

If her program was one year then she should get one year. Did other classmates do 2 one year programs back to back. She got the correct time.

They did exactly the same program in length and graduated same time.

As of February 2024, it was in one of the changes that those who do Health Care Aide will be given maximum 3 years in PGWP. That is how they got those years.

I have also read in some other articles that she can request it to be corrected as it is always at the discretion of the immigration officer. So, I will ask her to do a webform to explain.
