I am applying to sponsor my husband. He is a Sudanese citizen, but he lived 10 years in yemen. He was granted a yemeni travel document during his stay there. A travel document doesn't mean that you are a citizen, they just give a passport like document.
Anyways, he doesn't use it now nor did he renew it. The problem is that his surname on the travel document is different than his sudanese passport. Even the spelling of his first name is different.
My question:
1) The IMM0008 generic information form (personal details question 2) asks is there were any different names used in the past. Should I mention his travel document name?
2) would having two different last names create a problem with our application?
