Different name in passports

In my Passport and other documents my name is written without SURNAME but in my daughters passport ( under Father s Name column) it is written with my surname. Can it create any problem. How to solve it? Is there any Affidavit required to be submitted to CIC.

In the same way My wife has name without surname in all documents but in passport her name is written with her Surname.

Kindly help.

Two ways to go about it.

If you have time, make notarized affidavits for all corrections and change the respective passport to match all details. This cud be time consuming if you are ready for it.

If you are looking to apply quick, you can go ahead and use the notarized affidavit to apply to CIC. It is a legally binding document and universally accepted by CIC. Many have used this and got PR.
