DIFFERENCE BTW LMIA HIRING SKILLED VS SPONSORING PERMANENT RESEIDENCE

G'day all. EXPERT OPINION NEEDED

1)what is the difference in procedure of LMIA if you are hiring foreign skilled worker or sponsoring someone for permanent residence. i know you dont have to pay $1000 if u are sponsoring someone for permanent residence?

2)if my relative wants to sponsor me and give me prefrence over the local labour because he would rather have family member working for him , does this carry weight in the eyes of employment and social development ?

3) for LMIA (sponsoring for permanent residence kind) do employer still have to advertise the position or just directly apply for LMIA

Absolutely not. The LMIA process exists to PROTECT the Canadian labour market from exactly such a situation.
