Difference between IMM5707E and IMM5645

I have been thinking about this for a while now. What is the difference between IMM5707 and IMM5645? I mean both of the forms are for family information except IMM5645 which requires additional information. Is one of the form for outside applicants? Or both of them is the same thing?

Requirements can vary depending on the country of one's passport, so perhaps they require certain nationalities to use one form, then other nationalities have to use the other.

I am from India and submitted IMM5707e instead of IMM5645 will that affect my visa?

If this is the only omission, then the worst case scenario is a delay and request to submit a correct form.

I am trying to apply for visit visa for my parents and hoping to submit application online. However, I notice that the family information forms require me to fill the details of all my parents' siblings. My father has 8 siblings and 2 of them deceased while my mother has 12 and 4 of them deceased. The form still requires me to fill the details of the deceased people some of whom I never met as they died even before I was born or was too young to even remember how they looked like.

To top that, they have a check box which says: Will accompany you to Canada? ---- What a joke! I am thinking to check 'Yes' against all the deceased uncles/aunts and also write a note that when you see them at the entry point please confirm their date of birth, date of death and current address in person with each of those blessed souls as it is hard for me to reach out to people from Canada and who are not on facebook and ask them their personal information.

To make things more confusing they say that I need to fill out IMM5645 if I apply online whereas I need to fill IMM5707 (which doesn't require any sibling information) if I do postal application. So, why the difference? Can I submit IMM5707 for online application?

from one account, created with the name of father, we can submit mother's application as well? I believe it will require two application forms as well as two family information forms filled separately by each applicant.

Normally 5707 is when you apply by paper. If you apply online, it will ask you for 5645. I don't know why 5707 doesn't have sibling info but as they are only processing online application, you should submit 5645

Fill the application it tells you to fill. IMM5645 if you apply online.

If I apply for TRV online, do I have to upload the documents checklist?
and also on the documents checklist, it says family information form imm5707e, but when I tried to apply online it says imm5645.
which one should I fill up and upload on the online form?
