Which CLEPIP we have to give for Canada PR?
What is the difference between IELTS General and CLEPIP in terms of pattern and difficulty?

Celpip looks easier but timing is tricky, and I could not imagine myself talking to the machine, I mean computer...so I chose ielts over celpip

The CELPIP can be taken in Canada, the US, the Philippines, and UAE. CELPIP-General Test is required for applications for PR. All this information is available on the CELPIP website.

Both tests have their merits. I have heard from some that CELPIP is easier to ace if you're a native speaker (like myself), whereas non-native speakers feel more comfortable taking IELTS.

Use the practice materials that they provide (for free) online, such as the practice test, to get a feel for the kinds of questions you will be asked. Look up videos and blog posts with tips on speaking and writing samples. Practice describing complex images to an English-speaking friend if possible. Don't be afraid to correct yourself if you make a mistake while speaking. For the video portion of the listening exercise, make sure you make a note of who said what, as the questions usually refer to specific people in the video.
