Didn't know I had to pay MSP... HELP

Hi,

I've been living in BC for over 2 years now but I had no idea it was a legal requirement to pay MSP. I've recently moved to a new job and they have offered to cover my MSP but my question is will I have to pay back charges for the 2 years I haven't paid MSP. It was an honest mistake, I genuinely didn't know I had to pay it and I'm worried I will get into trouble.

How did you manage do go under the radar? Do you even have a health card?
