Did not receive passport back from cpc ottawa / fedex

on 26th May 2020, cpc ottawa confirmed that my passport was returned to me. But the fedex tracking number never got updated. When i contacted fedex regarding it, they said they dont see any updates in their database (they havent received the package). Fedex asked to tell cpc ottawa to contact them and check.
cpc ottawa is just saying they returned the package containing my passport and now i should contactfedex for further enquiries.

The package contains my passport and its very important for me. I do not want to lose my passport.

Please guide me on what should i do in this scenario.
 
Canada Post lost my CoPR a few months ago.
You need to call FedEx and ask for an investigation of some sorts, they have to find it.

If any of the fedex offices are open then you should go and talk to them personally. A passport is your lifeline when outside your country of origin.

They need to figure out what happened with this fedex tracking number. If they can confirm that and give you some written correspondence about it then take it up with cpc ottawa.
