I sent my application to the Central Intake Office under the skilled worker category in May 2010. According to my credit card statement, my payment was processed by August 2010, . I have not received any communication/feedback from Immigration Canada, and do not have a receipt number/ file number. Is there any way I can contact them for more information regarding the status of my application? I live in the US, and do not find any contact number for people residing outside Canada to contact CIC.

Normally applicants receive communication within 30 days of realization of payment by CIO. Do check your spam box of your mailing address regularily.

I am not sure how they are going to respond to you because when someone contact call centre of CIC they ask for application number etc

Well there is a number 1-888-242-2100 follow the instructions or just press 0 and and agent will talk to you, have ready all your papers to give them your information, maybe that could help.
