Did not land before the expiry date - what now?

Greetings,
I was supposed to reunite with my Canadian husband before the expiry date in my passport, but have not done so. I never landed in Canada. What does it mean for me and what can I do?

Hi, unfortunately there is nothing you can do and you will have to go through the PR application again. They are very strict about the expiry on the COPR, and unless they made a mistake, there is nothing that can be done.

The COPR expires the same day as the passport (if the passport expires before the medical).
