Did not get study permit at POE. Help!

Hi All,

My friend arrived yesterday, upon landing at Toronto, the immigration officer asked him his purpose of visit, upon which he said student, and that was it. they let him go through, as he is a first timer, he did not know about the study permit.Toronto was his transit stop for his connecting flight to saint john new brunswick after which he will go to Halifax. He is now currently staying with me in new brunswick. His final destination is Saint Mary uni at Halifax.I want to know how he can go about getting his study permit now.

this is surprising this is the second case we have seen on the forum recently.....scylla in ur experience has this happened before?

Hello, my question is not related with this topic. However, I am asking this as I am tensed about it. I submitted my VISA application for second masters program. However, the subjects of my current masters program and prospective masters program are almost same. May this cause VISA rejection?
