did CIC update? and is snail mail the only option?

to lodge the partner visa, CIC only suggests mailing all forms to ottawa. is there an online way to lodge a partnership visa or is that still a few years off? would be nice if so.

also a few days ago, i believe on the 3rd of this month, a fellow poster was a little distressed to learn that IMMI008 form was updated after he sent the older out of date form in. I have been looking all over for the updated form, and am unable to see that CIC has released an updated version. Has anyone else managed to find this updated version or it just me?

You must mail the entire application including all your proofs and supporting documents.
Everything is mailed to CPC-Mississauga (not Ottawa).
And on the CIC page where you download all the forms (for outland or inland apps), they show the date beside each form showing when it was last updated.
