reason for workpermit renewal was thai cic has not yet processed my lmo applied in july
i was on the implied status until my workpermit got processed and since i dint had lmo so they rejected my workpermit so now i am goin back
since dint want to stay on restoration status
hope will come back soon

Oh wow. I had no idea this could happen. So basically it could happen to any one on wp. Do you think you delayed in applying for wp? Or were you on something like PGWP and only now applying for LMO. Because if you are continuing with the same employer for wp extension, you probably dont need another LMO.

How will i know if my lmo is on process since this can happen to anyone?? How come her employer didnt know about her lmo not being process??

I think he already there on a work permit for a while and had applied for new LMO for a long time so he was expecting it to get through WHILE his work permit application is processed. Probably there wasn't much of a choice since wp was already expiring

Notice of receipt of payment: Nov 28
Phone call to employer: Dec 9
Positive LMO issued: Dec 10
Mail received ec 17

There was a cover letter included asking if the LMO could be expedited and a doctors letter included.

So this may not be a typical time frame.

And now for the next hurdle ..... I can't apply for my work permit from within Canada ( I'm on another thread with questions about that )
