please can anyone tell me what to put as an answer to the question under the heading DETAILS OF FAMILY MEMBERS in this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008egen.pdf ; am married to a canadian woman and she has three kids but me i dont have any do i have to put her kids in this section and what abt my parents and sister and brothers do i have to put their info here too ; i wanna make sure abt this ; welll i have read in the instruction guide that family members are just dependent kids but u know this is confusing : thanks

In the guide it states that you only put your spouse or your children if they are not Canadian citizens. In your case your spouse and her children are Canadian citizens and you stated that you have no children of your own. So you would put Not Applicable in for that question. If you had children that were not Canadian citizens you would fill out this question, even if they were not coming with you. This is because if sometime in the future you wanted to sponsor any of your non-Canadian children you would be able to. If you have non-Canadian children and they were not coming with you and you did not fill in their information on this question you would have a hard time to sponsor them in the future.

There is another part in the application called Additional Family Information, this is where you list your spouse, mother, father, brothers, sisters, your children and your spouses children (as step-children).

does the common law partner eed to give sibling and [arents name also or just the main applicant?
